Test Presents…are showing David Cronenberg’s ‘Videodrome’ in our ongoing series of monthly fashion film screenings and talks. Polymathic designer and artist Gary Card introduces the eighties sci-fi body horror which he cites as an ongoing source of inspiration in his work. “Videodrome is a perfectly succinct document of everything I love about Cronenberg” says Card, “It’s weird, seedy and a total brain scramble of an idea” .
The film will screen on Thursday 3rd May at 7.30pm at the Council Chamber Screening Room, Town Hall Hotel, Bethnal Green. Gary will be introducing and discussing the film and the notion of colour in costume at the screening which will be followed by an audience Q & A. All attendees will receive complimentary drinks courtesy of Peroni beer.
