Katie Eary A/W 2010

Katie Eary’s 2010 collection was inspired by Irvine Welsh’s book Maribou Stork Nightmares. From the book derived a thug in the jungle, which graced Katie’s catwalk this season.

These wild animal prints above were used in her fabrics to make parkas, trousers and hats. (see below)

Kathryn loved these tropical references and shot part of the film in the Barbican Conservatory.  She also had David White build a set with elements of forest and reflective materials, which echoed the fabrics in Katies collection.
