The hyper-real QVC -inspired set for Henry’s film was conceived by the ever clever and handsome set designer, Gary Card. Throughout the 15 hour shoot there were 4 major set changes which involved repainting the backdrop each time. The evolution began with mint green to candy pink to tangerine and finally, Gary’s favorite colour, lavender.
“Bad taste was fantastic fun! I got to use combinations of props and colour that I wouldn’t normally get away with. Thank you, Henry, for making my ’so wrong but right’ dreams come true, ” says Gary.
