What makes you laugh out loud? Spiders, indignation and… my friend Jon who has an amazing ability to tell really colourful stories.
What is your New Year’s resolution(s)? To be fearless and really do as much as i can in the way of creating and putting out my music.
What’s your favorite outfit and why? The clothes i wear are often gifts from friends. I discovered i had several white silk t-shirts given to me at different points. I’ve taken to wearing them all at once, and over time theyve got quite freyed and I realise I like the effect. It looks quite layered and raggedy. They are also really warm, which is important ’cause I live in a freezing place. So that, perhaps with a pair of black Acne jeans (another gift) and some vintage black Dr Marten boots.
What’s hot right now? My record. Record players. Santa Cruz skateboard graphics from the late 80’s and knowing another language- like Italian, or something.
Where’s your favorite place in the world and why? My favorite place in the world would probably have to be on the roof top at my mates place in an area called The Mission in San Francisco. She has this amazing view. One way you can see palm trees and rolling Californian hills and the other way stretches downtown, disappearing into glittering city lights and hazy sunsets. It’s beautiful and really cinematic and feels like freedom in the heat of the summer.
What’s special about your best friend? He’s very loyal and makes me laugh.
Describe your first kiss: It was with this boy in my class at school. He bashed me in the forehead first with the peak of his cap before we actually kissed. It was at our school fete and it was the weekend. I remember ’cause we weren’t wearing school uniform. He was wearing a turquoise sweatshirt with loads of sheep on the front, which smelt of strong washing powder. The kiss itself was really rushed and chaotic as we were hidden behind some bullrushes beside a pond.
Make a wish: Ok, I wish to offically get signed to a great record label this year.
